Preparing WordPress

If you already have WordPress installed on your server just skip to the next section. If you haven't yet installed WordPress on your server here you will find a complete guide on this topic. Just follow the steps and you will be ready in a blink of an eye with your shiny new WordPress website.

Using permalinks

Permalinks are the permanent URLs of your blog posts or pages on your WordPress site. We recommend you to use Post name structure:


  1. Go to Settings > Permalinks.
  2. Select one of the available formats:
We recommend to use "Post name" structure. However you can use any structure you like.

Theme Installation

Before you can start playing around with your new theme, let's first check what the theme package includes. After you have downloaded the .zip file from ThemeForest and unzipped it, its should reveal the following folders:


Upload Via FTP

Upload the Installable WordPress file admin area


Activate theme.


Setupe wizard

After theme activation you will see setup wizard - tool that will help you with installing theme required plugins and importing demo content.

Demo Import

Theme Customization.

Here you will see suggestion to use child theme for any theme customization. Using it you will save all your changes, even if main theme will be updated.

Website is Ready!

That's all. In a few minutes your all plugins were installed, demo data imported and website looks now same as on demo!




Manual Demo Import

If demo content is not imported by default way, you can always import it manually. 

Note: All theme required plugins should be installed

1. Login into your admin dashboard, go to Tools --> Import And install WordPress import plugin:

2. Run importer and use all.xml file, which is in DemoContent folder, can be downloaded together with theme files in package.

Follow the steps of importer. 



Importing Theme options

1. Open theme_options.json file, using any text redactor, which is in DemoContent folder, can be downloaded together with theme files in package. Copy all the text inside. 

2. Go to your admin Dashboard --> Theme Settings --> Backup tab 


In "Theme Settings" you are able to change main theme settings for Header, Footer, Blog, etc..

Notice: Before leaving the 'Theme Options' tab make sure to click the 'Save changes' button at the top of the panel, otherwise your changes will be lost.
Notice: All required Plugins should be installed and activated


  1. On/Off themes preloader, you cant change preloader, only his color, thru Global Style color option or code customization
  2. On/Off  page scroll up button
  3. Insert your favicon, rocommended size is 80x80px
  4. Global Style color changer - sellect your own color of theme





  1. Show top header - Enable/Disable Top header

If enabled: 

  1. Select the logo type Text or Image. If text logo type is Enabled, you can type the website name, select the color of this text and the size. 
  2. Image logo, permits you to upload your logo image. 





  1. Show your newsletter subscription in footer on all pages of your website (Requires MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress plugin to be activated) 





Use it if you wish to change fonts of your website. It is using Free Google fonts. 




Pages: Blog page

Permits you to select the view of your default Blog page. 

Pages: Blog details

Specify the view of your blog single posts. 

Pages: 404 

This is options page for your 404 page. It is shown, when somebody is trying to access the page, which is not exist on your website. 




Enable it, when your website is under construction. 

Here you able to specify the Maintenance page Background, newsletter form, counter etc.





You should use it, if you wish to connect your instagram account to your website. 

After you have connected your account, you can use instagram username in Gallery shortcode, when you add it directly on page: 

Or in widget options: 





Add here your Google map API key. Other way you won;t be able to use Google map on your website





Dish Menu

This Posts type is used, when you wish to add an dish of your restaurant to your menu. 

When you create a Dish, You should Enter it's name, select the category, which is used in filter on menu page, add short description, and Featured image. 

This data is used in Menu shortcode, and permits you to show your menu on any page of your website. 




Chef Team

Add your Staff members, describe them, add their contacts. 

When you create a team member, You should Enter his name add short description, and Featured image. 

You can also add additional information about your team member into Team options at the bottom of the page: 

You can add social icons, but note, not more than 4
